Cieľom konferencie je výmena poznatkov a know how v oblasti zlepšovania podmienok pre cyklistickú infraštruktúru, či už v mestách alebo regiónoch. V súčasnej dobe už nie je otázka, či potrebujeme riešiť cyklistickú dopravu, ale otázkou začína byť, akým spôsobom vieme implementovať podmienky pre cyklistov v mestách, na vidieku. Ako vytvárať atraktívne a bezpečné prostredie pre cyklistov? Prečo je potrebné budovať aj finančne náročnú cyklistickú infraštruktúru? Aký je teda stav podpory cyklistickej dopravy a cykloturistiky na štátnej, regionálnej alebo mestskej úrovni? Je podpora udržateľnej mobility iba formálna, alebo sme sa už posunuli v tomto smere ďalej? Na konferencii budú prizvaní domáci aj zahraniční odborníci, ktorí budú prezentovať príklady dobrej praxe s cieľom inšpirácie pre ostatných.
Konferencia je určená miestnym a regionálnym samosprávam, štátnym inštitúciám, dopravným inžinierom, urbanistom, architektom ako aj mimovládnemu sektoru, ktorý sa venuje tejto problematike.

- Kvalitná a bezpečná cyklistická infraštruktúra.
- Legislatíva, normy a štandardy.
- Bezpečnosť cyklistov a správanie cyklistov.
- Získavanie dát a práca s nimi v podpore cykloopatrení.
- Kampane na podporu udržateľnej mobility.
- Cykloturistika a prínos pre ekonomiku a iné.
Na nasledovnom linku sa môžete zaregistrovať ako aktívny účastník / prednášajúci s návrhom príspevku alebo pasívny účastník. Program je ešte v procese prípravy.

“ Will cycle paths also come to eastern Slovakia?“

The goal of the conference is the exchange of knowledge and know-how in the field of improving conditions for cycling infrastructure, whether in cities or regions. Currently, the question is no longer whether we need to solve bicycle transport, but the question is starting to be how we can implement the conditions for cyclists in cities and in the countryside. How to create an attractive and safe environment for cyclists? Why is it necessary to build a financially demanding cycling infrastructure? So what is the state of support for cycling transport and cycling tourism at the state, regional or city level. Is the support of sustainable mobility only formal, or have we already moved further in this direction? Domestic and foreign experts will be invited to the conference and will present examples of good practice to inspire others.
The conference is intended for local and regional governments, state institutions, traffic engineers, urban planners, architects, and the non-governmental sector that deals with this issue.
